As one of the originators of color theory within makeup artist education, The Powder Group has helped countless artists develop their eye and skill set by managing to assess and explore color and incorporate into your kit, design and looks.
In this first time The Powder Group event Bethany Townes and James Vincent take you through a full day of color theory from fundamental to advanced in a manner that is unlike anything you have experienced before. This session is about the importance of color and the ability to manipulate color to create looks. We will be discussing the importance of color knowledge for an artist and what a crucial role color plays in advancing your artistry.
We will revisit fundamentals, develop technique and bring you through the theory and hands-on, practical pieces of color psychology and energy as well as it's power and purpose in makeup from the every day to the avant garde.
