Next up in The Powder Group's Industry Intensive series is our Working in Television and Film program on September 22 in Los Angeles! This event will consist of a full-day, multiple presenter, program that focuses completely on the important area of makeup artistry for the film and television industry.

This program will take an approach that crosses over the business, design process, technique and product areas of the business. In a field that changes so regularly, and whose craftsmanship is such a critical part of all projects, this program is one that will help attendees better understand the must-know-now information on making in big in production work.

Attendees will participate in conversations with leading artists that have become synonymous with excellence in makeup in this genre of work including Ve Neill, Debbie Zoller, Amy L Forsythe, Eryn Krueger Mekash, Mike Mekash, Silvina Knight and Kim Ayers. A special panel with The Milton Agency founder, Daniella Milton and UK Partner Mandi Martin along with some of their top talent including Trefor Proud, John Blake, Tina Roesler Kerwin, and Julie Hewett, rounds out the event.

    We will be talking teamwork, creating strong industry relationships and the dos and don'ts of working on-set with Department Head Eryn Krueger Mekash (American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud) and a few of her dream team artist ensemble including Mike Mekash, Kim Ayers and Silvina Knight.

    For the past 40 years, the name Ve Neill has defined what it means to be true makeup artist royalty. Her work is the standard that an entire industry has set itself by. She has received Oscar, Emmy, BAFTA and MUAHS awards among others and she has inspired an entire new generation of artisans as a judge on Face Off. We will have a look at Ve's incredible body of work and get her insight on making it makeup artistry today.
