The Powder Group has announced it's newest pro-focused, industry-shifting event -- their CreativeExploration Conference. The program, which will include three days of lecture and hands-on fine arts and creative writing sessions, will encourage attendees to explore their artistry in new ways, opening their minds to new ways of thinking about their craft. The event will be open to only 40 attendees and is exclusively available to beauty professionals. The session will close with two-days of makeup-focused programs that will encourage a deeper discovery of color and texture that can be applied to all areas of professional beauty. In this two-day, intensive makeup program, we’ll delve into the area of high-fashion, runway and editorial makeup and how to interpret these advanced looks into your work everyday – no matter what area of work you specialize in. Being able to make every makeup modern and relevant while keeping your work beautiful and appropriate to task is a skill that is developed over a career and from beauty to bridal, commercial to retail, this event will help you take your artistry and craft to the next level. In this program five of our industry’s most creative makeup artists will take you on a journey of creative inspiration and practical application.
Day one will consist of four separate demonstrations by the incredible talents of Roshar, Edward Cruz, Dani Fonseca and Chris Milone. Each artist will showcase an advanced artistry look from their own portfolio of work and break down the look into useable, wearable application techniques for every client.
Day two is a hands-on workshop presented by James Vincent that will include demonstration and practical hands-on workshop on a variety of looks throughout the full-day program.
