Provincetown based, Laura is a graduate of School of Museum of Fine Arts at TUFTS, Boston, with Returning Residencies at the Fine Arts Work Center, Provincetown. Her art practice has grown to include making paintings, drawings and collages, teaching and inspiring others to create the art and life they really want. Shabott is represented by Berta Walker Gallery, has artwork in the Permanent Collection of the Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM) and has an upcoming solo show You Only Get This Body Once at the Cape Cod Museum of Art October of 2025.

In this personal and professional development session we will explore some of the reasons our visions become clouded in the first place, why we believe (falsely under most circumstances) it is easier to put our dreams aside than continue in hard times, and discuss how to navigate uncertainty when the road ahead feels unclear.
